STATUS ON OUTSTANDING ORDERS
I finally have the last of the REALLY late orders out & will be working all through the holiday weekend to get back on schedule. Thanks again to everyone for their patience while I dug my way out of a rather deep hole. It’s stressing, but also exciting to receive so many orders in such a short period of time. The vacation to Disneyworld (planned waaay before the onslaught of orders) & a few days without my sewing machine really hurt my delivery time. As a result I received my first neutral feedback on Etsy. 
No complaints about the bag, but about my lack of communication (which I did attempt, but that’s neither here nor there) & the slow delivery turnaround. It’s funny how you can receive lots and lots of praise & feel great about what you do & your product, but one negative comment counteracts all of it. Anyway, it has me even more motivated to work on improving delivery turnaround overall. My sister has come on board to start helping in the production of the bags, so hopefully with her assistance I’ll be able to improve delivery to less than 3 weeks. It might not be possible with the truly custom bags, because of the delay in ordering & receiving the fabrics, but in-stock items should ship quicker. Thanks again to all of you!!

And, now about the bag… I’ve been working on lots of various smaller bags lately & this one just really stands out. I like it because it’s cute & compact, but still functional & sturdy. It’s bears resemblance to the large Haylen bag available at the etsy store, but down sized considerably. Perfect little bag for carrying your extra lenses while working or carrying your camera and a spare lens or flash. The photos has the lens separate from the camera body, but you could carry it attached (just need to remove divider & rest camera on it’s side).

Details about the bag: Measures 7.5″H x 11″W x 3.5″ (exterior measurements), 1/4″ Thick Foam lines the front & back, 1/2″ Thick Foam lines the sides & bottom (provides great cushion to equipment stored inside), Magnetic Snap Closure, 1 Zipper Pocket along the exterior backside, 1 small open pocket on each exterior side (great for cell phone or business cards) & 1 larger open pocket under the front flap. If you’ve seen my bags before, then you’ll recognize the interior. It’s designed the same as Maia, with removable & adjustable dividers. The exterior is all new in design. This bag allows for a large splash of color (or not) on either side, but maintains durability with a heavy duty nylon used for the bottom & interior.
I like this bag because it’s perfect for when you need quick access to your camera and don’t want to mess with flaps or buckles. Also, the bag is deep enough that your camera cannot be easily snagged from inside even though it has an open top. You can use it purely as a camera bag or create a snug pocket for your camera, using the adjustable dividers, and store anything else you may need for a day trip inside.
